At Coral Gables Signs we have the ability to deep engrave many alloys. Here we have created a very elegant set of stainless steel and aluminum Boat Vin Plates for a yacht manufacturer.

These VIN Plates are made in Stainless Steel and Brushed Aluminum
The Logos are Chemically Laser Etched and will not fade unless ground off. The engraving is smooth, deep and is then filled with an exterior automotive black lacquer which contrasts the polished metallic metals beautifully

This plate is 1.125″(H) x 8″(W) stainless steel. All edges and corner are smooth and polished:

This is the matching 1″(H) x 6″(W) aluminum plate that is specially hidden in case of  theft recovery:

A good customer came over to our shop with some very decayed boat panels for a Rinker
He wanted to maintain the original look of the boat but also improve upon it.
He eventually settled on a Deep Cherry Wood Grain finish for his new panels.

The original boat panels were in terrible shape but we knew it would be possible to piece the puzzle together well enough in order to obtain precise measurements:

After some time in the Trauma ICU we were able to gain exact specs on the marine dash panels and insert the measurements into the illustrator:

After the drawings were approved by the client we began fabrication of his New Rinker Wood Grain Marine Dash Panels:
